From the beginning to the end of a file, Sam ensures that his clients understand their options and the process to achieve their goals.

Sam’s passion for immigration law began in law school, where he worked with students applying for permanent residence through Community Legal Services. Since those early days, Sam has worked almost exclusively in the world of immigration and refugee law. Drawing on his years of experience, Sam believes in the value of mentorship and is an active member of a community of immigration lawyers and professionals.

In Sam’s experience, the best way to begin a new client relationship is by creating a detailed plan that addresses timelines, mutual expectations, and potential outcomes. Sam works collaboratively with clients to build relationships of trust, active participation, and clear communication to ensure that they are well-positioned to make informed decisions. With this approach, Sam has helped hundreds of clients achieve their immigration objectives.

Overturned the refusal of a spousal sponsorship between a Sponsor and an Indian Applicant. The Application was initially refused based on doubts regarding the genuineness of the marriage. Specifically, the visa officer expressed concerns regarding the absence of the Sponsor’s family’s acceptance of the marriage. The Appeal was allowed based on evidence of genuineness and oral testimony presented at the hearing.

Successfully overturned the refusal of a spousal sponsorship between a Sponsor and a Moroccan Applicant. The application was initially refused based on doubts regarding the genuineness of the marriage. Specifically, the visa officer expressed concerns related to factors such as age gap, frequency of visits, and cultural differences between the Applicant and Sponsor. The appeal was allowed based on evidence of genuineness and oral testimony presented at the hearing.

Successfully overturned the refusal of a spousal sponsorship.
