Daniel Kingwell joins Gill Deacon on CBC Radio’s Here and Now Toronto to discuss Arielle Townsend’s citizenship status.
Arielle was born in Jamaica and moved to Canada as a baby. Her mother was told by officials that Arielle was a citizen because her mother had received a citizenship card before Arielle’s birth. However, this week, the federal government informed Arielle that her citizenship had been revoked.
